Summary
DashDocX collects only what is needed to run your account and your dashboards. We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising trackers.
What we collect
- Account details: name, user name, e-mail address, phone number, ID number, company name and project, and your password (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Your dashboard data: the figures, parameters, notes and files you add or import.
- Usage records: report views, sign-in time, support messages and chats you send us, and basic technical information such as browser type and IP address in server logs.
Why we use it
- To create and secure your account and send activation and password-reset e-mails.
- To show your dashboards and build your reports, downloads and shared links.
- To answer support questions, prevent abuse and keep backups.
- To improve the website, for example which reports are opened.
The report writer and outside AI
Report sentences are written by our own engine. If the administrator switches on outside help (Gemini or DeepSeek), only anonymous facts are sent: parameter names, status words and percentages. Company names, personal details and raw figures are not sent. Public report links never call outside models.
Cookies and local storage
- Session cookie: keeps you signed in. Needed for the website to work.
- Assistant cookie: gives the help assistant a private conversation for your visit.
- Browser storage: remembers choices such as dark mode and report style on your device.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Who can see your data
You, and the website administrators who run the service. A report you share by public link can be read by anyone with that link. We use our hosting provider and e-mail service to run the website; they process data for us and for no other purpose. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you ask us to delete the account, we delete your dashboard data and profile, except records we must keep by law or in backups, which are removed on their normal cycle.
Your choices
- Ask to see, correct or export your data.
- Ask us to delete your account and data.
- Turn off or renew the public link of your report in Company profile.
- Opt out of messages that are not needed to run your account.

Security
Passwords are hashed, forms are protected against forged requests, and private folders are blocked from the web. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and sign out on shared devices.
